Reflection on Play Test
Friday 28th
The new rules worked far better, and made the game shorter, down to approx 30 mins of play time (not including icebreaker).
Having the rats and the frogs complete the same movements each turn really simplified the play.
Now we have to adjust the card rules to suit the new game, develop illustrations/style for the cards, recreate the board and begin to write the rules for play.

Play test - felt (Week 7)
Issues with the game:
- Too many things to remember
- Cards need to be more simple? Not go over more than one persons turn...
- Do the rats catch frogs if they go over? They could move in different direction to catch them.
Solutions:
- One pile of cards to draw from? Not individual for frogs - have the facts somewhere else?
- Frogs and rats have same turn - move 3 spaces, pick up a card
- Could the frog split up the 3 spaces between the players?
- All dice rules now a card rule
- Powerups on the dice! Individual logs don't have the powerups, but whenever a frog lands on them they get to roll the powerup dice.
- Rats only catch the frog if they land directly on them

Feedback
- recycled floor parts
- the scalable feature is cool. maybe kids can have a take home small version too? printable?
- icebreaker? need one? froggy battle off? get them moving and warmed up
- frog empires
- colours on the cards match the colours of the players
- kids can only jump so far- rock distance
- different sizes of board depending on the number of players
